South East NRMA Patrol, Daniel Busquets, wasnt sure what to expect when he attended a job with the comments - Animal noises under bonnet! Daniel arrived at the job in Chippendale at around 8am on Friday, 13th June. When he introduced himself to the Member, he could hear a kitten meowing from under the bonnet of a Black Hyundai Getz. He opened the bonnet and the meowing stopped. Daniel had previously found a kitten stuck in the steering rack of a car, but no such luck this time. So he knocked on the guards of the car and the kitten started meowing again. He found the kitten had climbed into the passenger inner guard area of the car. Daniel had to remove the wheel and the inner guard cover to gain access. He removed the kitten, went to the corner store and bought some cat food. The kitten was starving. Daniel offered to keep the kitten, but the Member explained they had just lost a cat and would love to keep the kitten. Daniel suggested they call him Lucky. Great work, Daniel.
