South High School students staged a walk-out today in Denver. The rowdy bunch took the streets all the way from Washington Park area and up Colfax all the way to East High School, where they were going to meet up and collectively take a stand against police terror and injustice. Instead, the East High School administration and the cops put the school on lockdown so the students couldnt leave and participate actively in democracy! We salute the administration for showing the children what a police state looks like and letting students know that school officials, city officials nor the police have any interest in addressing their life-or-death concerns around daily injustices and the lack of accountability.
