South Shore Drill Team’s Annual Flags & Flips Fundraiser Time: 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The award winning South Shore Drill Team was founded in 1980 to provide positive alternatives for inner-city youth ages 8 to 21. Each year the Drill Team performs at more than 120 events including the 2013 Presidential Inaugural Parade. Programs also include Education Support, Employment Train-ing, Financial Assistance and Court Diversion. In 2012, the Team served 300 young men and women. South Shore Cultural Center, 7059 S.
