South wind, dust, dust, dust and more dust! The lake is way down now and the extended beach (a tenth of a mile or maybe more) gets pounded into powder by bunches of ATVs and the twenty mph wind sends it all up to our house. Our attic is probably getting full of dirt. It even smells like dust in the house. We cannot get the lake owners to stop them because they say that every one has access to the lake whether full or empty. Also concession owners can make money off the ATV people when the lake is down and boating is poor. We have a couple of weeks to endure this. I shudder to think what Labor Day Week end will bring. Even living on a lake is not all glorious.
