Southern #Queensland and Northern #NSW are expecting an even Colder Night tonight... #Brisbane #QLDWeather #Bris #SEQ #NENSW #NSWWeather The HIGH that is the reason behind this Cold Snap, is moving East into Central South Australia this afternoon and tonight, meaning the Ridge affecting Southern Queensland, South-East Queensland and Northern New South Wales is expected to be stronger. Light to Moderate South-West Winds are heading into South-East Queensland/North-East New South Wales as well, once these die down tonight, the temperature will plummet, just as it did last night. Key Temperatures across Southern Queensland and Northern New South Wales: - Brisbane 6ºc - Brisbane Airport 6ºc - Amberley 3ºc - Gatton 4ºc - Toowoomba 2ºc - Sunshine Coast 7ºc - Gold Coast 9ºc - Warwick 0ºc - Kingaroy 1ºc - Stanthorpe -2ºc - Dalby 0ºc - Oakey 0ºc - Grafton 3ºc - Armidale -3ºc - Glen Innes -3ºc - Tenterfield -4ºc - Moree 2ºc - Casino 3ºc - Tamworth -1ºc - Coffs Harbour 5ºc Tonight and tomorrow night should be fairly similar when it comes to temperature, most indicators are pointing towards tomorrow night being slightly colder though. The second image is showing tonights expected Minimums. That aqua blue is a range of 0-3ºc which you can see is widespread throughout the Darling Downs, Granite Belt, Warrego & Maranoa, stretching up towards Emerald even. Into New South Wales and that same aqua blue is covering parts of the NW Slopes and Plains, Mid North Coast, Northern Tablelands and Northern Rivers. The Northern Tablelands also heavily have the light aqua which is for 0 to -3ºc. Note: Minimums for tonight will be updated at 4pm EST, however Im making this post early since Im working tonight and start just before the Minimums are updated. 90% of the Minimums will be the same as above, the others will either be 1ºc above or below the current - most likely below.
