This trough will reach the southern border overnight Tuesday or early Wednesday as the ridge weakens and contracts east. The trough should then move to central parts of the state on Thursday before stalling, resulting in a weak pressure pattern over the region. There are early indications that a cold front may arrive later on the weekend.
