Southland District Council Chief Executive David Adamson has been appointed as the Christchurch City Councils Director of Facilities and Infrastructure Rebuild. This new role at the Council will involve the rebuild of Council Facilities, the city led Anchor projects, other rebuild programmes, and our horizontal infrastructure rebuild including SCIRT. It is part of the new Executive Leadership Team. David has been the Chief Executive of the Southland District Council since 2004. He originally joined the organisation 19 years ago as the District Engineer. He was then appointed as the Group Manager for Services and Assets before becoming the Chief Executive.He will start at the Christchurch City Council in June. Other Executive Leadership Team positions at the Council are likely to be announced this week,
