Sparks is still alive and kicking, and are musical geniuses if you ask me> I was dating the bass players niece back in the day, and was lucky enough to get backstage, and hang with them for a while. Being I am from California, I am proud of our local boys. The funny thing is, they are now more popular in Europe, than they are in America. Kind of always have been. I first saw them, when I danced on American Bandstand here in the states.
