Speak life, when the sun wont shine and you dont know why. Ive never really been the type of person to truly listen to the words of a song. As a drummer and guitarist, its always been more about the actual music itself to me. I ran across this song a few months ago, and ever since I first heard it, the words have just kind of stuck with me for some reason. I guess to admit it, Ive always struggled with trying to stay positive when life frankly just sucks. Its easy to walk around with a smile when things are good, but the true test comes when you go through a rough patch in life. Not that I think my life is bad...its not...but you know what I mean...just those situations you get into sometimes where its hard to keep your head up. I can honestly say this song has helped me to have a different outlook on many things. Even when the sun wont shine, and you dont know why...stay positive. Thats easier said than done sometimes of course...we are human. But, that one sentence, Speak life, when the sun wont shine and you dont know why, has really helped me deal with my own personal situations much easier. Stay positive, and remember that your words and reactions can either crush or build something. I wish I would have thought before I spoke so many times in my life, but Im glad now that this has helped to realize that a bit more.
