He gave 3 evidences in your life to see if you really understand the Gospel and have believed in Jesus. Garland explained that having a spiritual birth certificate, knowing when and how you got saved, is not nearly as important as if you: feel the conviction of the Holy Spirit, the comfort of the Holy Spirit, and also have a burning desire for others to know the God who died for the world.
