Speaking of being a vegetarian, I was on a flight recently, and was SO hungry, I couldnt see straight. I anxiously waited for the food service to began, only to discover that there was nothing left on the menu that was vegetarian. My heart sunk, and I was almost going to slip up and just order something with meat in it, and pick it out. Finally I called the stewardess over, explained ever so nicely my situation, and she said let me go to the kitchen and see what I can do. The next thing I know she had literally put together a delicious vegetarian sandwich from some other meals, with a delicious sauce on the side, added a yummy deluxe salad, and brought it to me. The clicker is…..she didnt even charge me! As you know airplane food can get expensive. Of course, I had to call her over and ask her why the sandwich wasnt on my receipt along with one other dessert I ordered, (smile) and she said you were so nice about it and I knew you were so hungry. We can let it go but dont tell anyone. How cool was that?
