Speaking of humility in leadership, the importance lies not only talk but listen. Listening is a difficult art to master , it is important to control the facial expressions : no doubt that a smile is the shortest distance between two people. Friendship , mission, delegation , education, demand , freedom, patience , confidence, magnanimity , temperance , empathy , serenity , respect , diligence , honesty, commitment ... humility. On that list are the key elements to design and maintain alive, cohesive and consistent , our teams. What is surprising is that the executive world not only does not understand its meaning and significance , but ignores them. In particular , humility not often seen as the most important ingredient of leadership is perceived rather as comfort clumsy and incompetent people who use it as a rationalization of its judgments . For some , humility is an attribute of conformist or losers , not winners.
