Speaking of petsitting, one of my gigs in the early 90s was taking care of a very large pig, a pug, and a cat for Elizabeth Robinson. I think Ive mentioned them before here on the facebook. The pigs name was Bootsie and she was hilarious and smart. The first evening at Lizs house, I was so concerned with the advice to not let Bootsie step on my feet, that I forgot the other rule. That was, rub Avon Skin So Soft on Bootsies tummy while shes eating. This was to prevent mosquitoes from biting her very low hanging belly. She had two courses in her dinner... a salad and then a bowl of pig chow (looked like dry cat chow, but made for pigs). Liz had told me that if you miss that opportunity, youre kind of screwed because once you get her in the backyard to do her business, shes lightning fast. She was right. I ran around the backyard chasing Bootsie around and yelling, Come here, honey! I forgot to put your Grandma oil on!!!
