Speaking the truth draws outrage? Outting an epidemic causes panic? Revealing a problem induces fear? Dealing with reality causes shame? Weve become a society of people where pridefulness over-rules doing the right thing. On the flip side though, Vermonters need to decide what they are willing to give up and / or no longer pay for to fix the problem. Our state is overtaxed and broke. Reality is rarely easy. If it were, more people would live in it. Time for choices.
