Special Advisory - Afghanistan: Minimise movement in Pul-e-Charkhi area of Kabul following explosion, gunfire An explosion was reported at approximately 04.30 (local time) on 2 July in the north-eastern outskirts of the capital Kabul. The explosion went off in the Pul-e-Charkhi area, located near the compound of foreign forces; reports of gunfire followed the blast. The security forces have cordoned off the area. Details are still emerging.
