Special thanks to Reverend Donovan Anthony Coley Sr. for his stirring remarks at yesterdays Prayers for the City event, as he highlighted the plight of the local homeless in Fort Wayne and briefly discussed the facts relating to local homelessness. One fact that gets overlooked is that Fort Wayne currently has beds for 500 homeless (200 of those beds are at Rescue Mission and Charis House), but that number still isnt enough to properly serve the local homeless population.
