Spectacular attacks or infiltration of the strategic space: Why Lebanese Restaurant was attacked ? The overall military aim of the vampire alliance, ISI, Al-Qaeda and Taliban is a) Increase the cost of war for Afghan government and its allies. b) Bog down the ANSF and its foreign allies through protraction of small attacks and expect organized response and reaction. Drag the ANSF into deadly, difficult and costly to maintain terrain. c) Shatter the public confidence and create chaos through attacks on soft targets also known as the strategic space. The attack against the Lebanese restaurant was exactly a tactic to achieve a strategic goal. It made international news and was a headline. If it happened in a remote corner of Afghanistan it would have not been seen and perceived as shocking and awful. The year 2014 will be a defining year for the Taliban and their allies. This year will specify their space and position in war and peace equations. For us, the people of Afghanistan, it is extremely important to stand behind our troops and security forces and at least contribute to collapse of the third pillar of the enemy strategy. We can go in length and condemn the attack from moral, political and spiritual perspectives but that won’t change the equation. The enemy will still considers it a success. They lost three and killed and injured twenty times more than that. My humble message to ANSF commanders and leaders is that lets not fight it through manipulated strategic messaging. Lets tell the facts to our people and rally them for our rightful and noble cause through accurate information and messaging. They are all with you and they say TALIBAN SHOULD AND MUST NOT BE REPEATED. TALIBAN BE GONE FOR EVER.
