Speech and utterance are also descriptive words for LOGOS. God is able to speak to the inner man. Either He uses the language we speak or He speaks in a language that is written in our hearts from creation. If the latter, then our cognitive understanding of His words manifests in our dominant language. If I am English, French, German or Hispanic; I will hear Him in my language. Through the incarnation of Jesus we have God speaking and uttering Truth using analogies, metaphors and parables from the viewpoint and heart set of Jewish life.
