Spent 3 hours with my Dad who is 84 yesterday, I hadnt seen him for a couple of years he has parkinsons, it has effected him badly, he really should be in a home where they would treat him alot better as his wife cannot cope with the way he is now but he refuses to go. When I was leaving he walked with me to the door we stopped I put my arms around him held him seemed like forever.I love dad, I kissed him on the cheek, I told him that I wish I could help him in some way because he brought the foùr of us up pretty much alone. I think that will be the last time I see him. Now I wonder how I would have been treated by my wife who is 29 years younger than me about the same as my dad and his, perhaps what happened with my marriage was for the better, I am blessed to have such beautiful children and when my time comes I hope they realize how much I love them.
