Spent a chunk of the afternoon battling the nefarious goutweed, AKA Ground Elder or Bishops Weed. Its been trying to take over the backyard. I call it Blitzgreen. Whatever you do, never let a gardening centre clerk convince you that adding goutweed is a good idea. The stuff is super aggressive! It spreads by putting out thin tendrils along the topsoil and propagating like crazy until it has choked out other plants. Nasty stuff!
