Spent an incredible evening with these incredible Vietnam Veterans, Wives, Friends and Family! I was in awe to be in their midst and listening to their tales of days gone by. I knew my neighbor Beebe was a Marine Colonel, served and was highly decorated; but to actually be in the presence of these others and learn of the magnitude of their service was Humbling. Just regular men who in many ways truly sacrificed their lives and time away from family, realizing and lovingly acknowledge those taken from this world. Amazingly have no need to be acknowledged or recognized for their undeniable feats of acts of heroism. Just blessed to once again be together and live another day. If anyone thinks a visit to Washington and the "memorials" there is moving , Well let me just say this: To Witness an actual reunion of those still alive - It somehow brings personality and puts a face with those names inscribed on a stone wall.
