Spent over four hours this morning making the rounds on Park Avenue (mostly north) with Randy Noles from Winter Park Magazine passing out magazines and signing up businesses which do not already receive it. I get funny with titles and descriptions. While some referred to me as a writer before in my life, I never really thought of myself as one until I started writing for the Winter Park Maitland Observer right at two years ago. It took something I was passionate about for me to meet that definition in my own mind, when doing it came easily, flowed because so much of what I was writing came together in my mind before I ever began tapping at keys. Of late a number of people have referred to all the people I know, have met out and about, traipsing around Park Avenue and elsewhere. I think Im slow at grasping those things because today for the first time I really feel like, yes, I know a lot of people. And THAT is wonderful, a terrific feeling. In a community such as this, yes, that feels awfully darn good. :-)
