Spent the day cheering on thousands upon thousands of runners at the Disney Marathon. Some of my highlights were getting just barely a hug from my friend Laura Hoten Grider because she was so busy rocking a PR, getting a great big hug from Jake Novak who has turned into quite the runner, being able to get a hug from and give some peanut butter filled pretzels and chocolate to one of my personal heroes, Cedric King, seeing and giving peanut butter filled pretzels and some BBQ potato chips to my buddy, John Bellochi, who I didn’t even realize was running the race, seeing my friends, Judi Robison, Victoria Cusack, Greg Mcclellan, Amanda Lynn Morehead, Alma L Ortiz, Debbie Wennerstrom and many other friends complete the dreaded Dopey Challenge, seeing dozens of other friends like Stacy G. Etchison, Nancy Austin and Molly Schulte Novosad complete the marathon. I did miss seeing my buddy Carol Tilis Haile on the course, but she’s so light on her feet, she probably just floated right by me. None of the runners or the volunteers let a little rain dampen their spirits.
