Spent the day with my best friend hiking up Rattlesnake Mountain. Went Man vs. Nature against uphill terrain, picked up plastic and found stuff... and at the top of the mountain climbed up vertically to the top of a radio tower which supposedly emits high frequency sound and has a view of the entire valley from above the peaks of the mountains there. Then we walked back down in a forest that was completely silent and I only realized that by stopping and not moving. The whole place was so silent that tuning into vibration and my surroundings was so easy and unlike the street noise where I live. I love nature and I love faith. Glad I got to spend time with my bud before he leaves to Montana. And most of all glad I survived what nature brought me through today.
