Spent the day with my cousin Charlene Hulsey-harbin. We went to the place they towed her car after the accident and I cleaned out the car of all of her things so the insurance people could come and get it this afternoon. We then met my sister and aunt for lunch before going to the orthopedic Dr to have her ankle checked. They were able to put a boot on her foot/leg instead of a cast. It was very difficult for her to be able to get around on the crutches and I was very glad they ordered a leg scooter. One of those things you kneel with your bad leg and scoot along. It is a God send for her and she was able to even go into the pharmacy without much difficulty!! What a great invention!! She is even more bruised than yesterday and continues to find new ones each day she has no idea where they came from!!! She is extremely sore where she hit the steering wheel with her chest when the airbag failed to deploy!! Bruises and broken ankles heal, cars can be replaced, but we are thankful she is ok and still here!!! This is another time that you NEVER know what each day will bring.
