Spent the weekend moving Emily and Callum. I was very sad to leave - TopicsExpress

Spent the weekend moving Emily and Callum. I was very sad to leave them. Expected today to be difficult. i was even prepared for a long, potentially slow drive back from Henderson NV on the 15 on a Sunday afternoon. But as i sit here right now i am profoundly thankful. We encountered traffic immediately outside of Vegas. But traffic was VERY slow. First major traffic delay was due to a single vehicle rollover, driver fatally ejected from the vehicle. Unsure whether there were others involved by the time we passed by. It really hit home. My heart goes out to their loved ones. We almost immediately encountered another very long delay due to a horrific accident involving a motor home. During the portions of the drive where we were actually moving at anything near the posted speed limit, one reckless driver after another passed, weaving in and out of traffic. Did they not see what we saw?i. It apparently had no impact, on them or their actions. During the very slow (I.e., barely moving) portions of the drive was astounded by the sheer numbers of beer bottles and cans, and large bottles of hard liquor littering the road side. What a sad stretch of road. Its going to be a long year or so while we travel to Vegas, or Hannah, Emily and Callum travel back to visit. Happy to be home, and happy they are safely set up in their new home. I
