Spent time with my Dad, my brother and my sis-in-law today... I love my family... we have our ups and downs, but there is nothing like family! My Dad has been the best to me and my brother, and he was the absolute best to my Mom for over 40 years.. they had their issues too, but he loved her through it all and she loved him too... me and my brother were talking today and we were saying how proud we were of my Dad because he has been able to stay strong and carry on without my Mom being here..its been hard for him at times, and I know the loneliness still gets to him, but I just hope and pray he can find someone who is going to love him even half as much as my Mom did because he more than deserves it! Hes a provider, caretaker, friend and Father...hes not perfect, but hes my Dad and I love him with all my heart and I know that I have been blessed to have him and have my Mom for parents... if I dont have any other reason to thank God, I have them... but I thank you Lord, not only for them, but for all the blessings you have sent to my family over the years.. it is because of you that we are still here... AMEN!!!!!
