Spirit & Life Devotional Thursday, October 31 COME AND SEE In the book of Revelations, John was continually told to Come and see. Revelations 6:1,3,57. John said, After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this. Revelations 4:1 Heres what Jesus said about the Holy Spirit, When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future. John 16:13 NLT God desires to continually show us things to come; not only about Heaven to come, but also about things pertaining to our lives here on earth. As Christians, we are not supposed to walk in the dark, or to live guessing what will be or will not be; we ought to have insight about whatever will be, through the Spirit. The Holy Spirit keeps inviting us to Come and see. And as we fellowship with Him in prayer and in meditation, He will continue to reveal things to us and guide us through life.
