Spirulina Halts 85% of Breast Cancer in Vivo: In this remarkable new study, the incidence of breast tumors in rats was reduced from 87% (for those not treated with spirulina) down to just 13% for those treated with spirulina. That’s a decrease of 85% in the incidence of tumors. The researchers in this study also saw that spirulina strongly inhibited growth and induced programmed cell death in the cancer cells. This is not the first study to show spirulina as a potent anti-cancer agent. It’s already been shown to suppress pancreatic cancer, prostate cancer, leukemia, melanoma and colon cancer in other lab studies. Spirulina (a nutrient-dense blue-green algae) also has numerous other health benefits such as boosting the immune system, suppressing yeast overgrowth (like Candida), controlling appetite, and possibly controlling blood sugar in diabetes. So impressive is the science behind sprirulina that it is now being tested in clinical trials for preventing influenza, boosting immunity in the elderly, detox for arsenic poisoning, and treating patients with HIV. One trial already showed the spirulina may lower triglycerides, blood pressure, and inflammation markers in type II diabetics! Spirulina powder and tablets are widely available and make a great addition to a diet aimed at detox, preventing cancer or boosting the immune system. #Spirulina #BreastCancer #Candida #Diabetes click.linksynergy/fs-bin/click?id=wfbe6QZamAc&subid=&offerid=325895.1&type=10&tmpid=1077&RD_PARM1=http%253A%252F%252Fvitacost%252FproductResults.aspx%253Fntk%253Dproducts%2526ss%253D1%2526NttSR%253D1%2526Ntt%253DSpirulina ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24269837 (via The Eden Prescription)
