Spoke to my mom last night and it was sad to hear her sound so down and say I thought I would see you, the house is so quiet and like empty your dad bought stuff as if we having a party Im so glad that I used to do thanksgiving dinner. I told her I know but dont be sad this is part of life your kids would grow up and all live their lives. Thats why its so important to do things with family when u can cuz theres gonna be that time when u go down memory lane! So I told her Id come down in couple weeks for the weekend, she can cook, and have all of us over and we can do our own thanksgiving dinner together! Moral of all this is holidays shouldnt be the only reason we come together, family is truly important and the love and memories are the greatest gifts of all.
