Spoken Word... Im a black man in society trying to make it. The chance for opportunity is slim. Its slim because giving the opportunity to someone. That may mean your job is at question. It may mean that I may get ahead of you. Because, I have more qualification or may be smarter than you. To be humble at opportunity may come at a price. Because, its a dog eat dog world. We cut each other throats to get ahead. When, we was taught. Their is equal opportunity for everone. The equality of the world is tarnish. Because, the quote or word from the bible. Money is the root of all evil. Which is true.. Because, a person will kill you just to have it. Even in the face of adversity and you telling me NO. Im telling myself. YES! Yes, I will make it amongst the odds. I will make it because God put me on this world to make something of myself. God has place me on this world and in heaven around equals. To give and receive the opportunities that some people in this world dont want me to have. To give and recieve blessing that some people are block me or you from. This is just how my mind and heart feel. If you feel some type of way. You just prove my logic is right. You dont want me to win or my people to win. You want us homeless, hungry, and without the opportunity. An I end this by saying I will pray for you.
