Spongebob is a dream horse and a very rare find. It is with a very heavy heart that Im selling my beautiful Spongebob due to lack of time to produce him to his full potential. To date his education has been on and off and this isnt fare on him,He deserves the chance to shine.He is 16.2h 5y gorgeous palomino welsh part bred. Spongebob is a horse that you very rarely see for sale,He has the most amazing temperament and is really honest and polite in every way. He can be handled by literally anyone from a non horsey mother to tiny children. He is excellent to lead,load (box and trailer) catch,bath,plait (stands like a rock) Excellent to mount from a mounting block,from the floor or a leg up. Really good around children he is not phased by them running round him or playing on there bikes. Hes happy to be groomed by the kids. Dressage: Spongebob has lovely flatwork he rides in a consistent soft outline in all 3 phases. He is very light in the hand and never strong. (snaffle mouth at all times) He is on the steady side of medium to ride. Not sharp but not lazy either. He is responsive off the leg with out shooting forward but at the same time he doesnt rush. Spongebob listens to your voice and seat if you rise slow he will go slow and if you rise a bit more he will up the pace for you, He slows down by your voice also. Spongebob has established flatwork. He does walk to canter and also flying changes. Spongebobs canter is steady,balanced and consistent. He doesnt pull or rush he just stays is a steady rhythmical pace. He is always placed every time out dressage getting very high scores in this phase. Open spaces/traffic: Spongebob is fantastic in open spaces he doesnt light up or get strong or silly. He is a confidant chap who is happy to go out alone both trough the forests,across fields and in every traffic. He happily crosses the A47 and doesnt worry about buses,lorry,tractors or trailers.spongebob is also great to hack out incompany. He will go in any position up front,middle or back. He will canter upfront and lead others or will follow behind with out being strong or silly. (Washing line rains he is safe) Ridden by novice: Spongebob has been ridden in the school by my novice 9y old son. He doesnt get sharp or strong or take advantage.he has proven to be genuine and safe for Patrick to ride. Showing: To date he has not yet shown but judging on his looks,conformation and polite temp I genuinely believe he could be a HOYS WH or a HOYS Ridden hunter. He has the most amazing head,neck and apple bum. Soundness/vice free He is 1001% a sound and correct mover.He moves straight and has no dishing or twisted limbs. His feet are strong and all 4 match. He has no sarcoids or scars. No itchs or allergies. He has no stable vices. Does NOT wind suck,weave,box walk,crib. This horse is a dream in everyway. First to see will definitely buy!
