***Sponsored App*** (Free) Monki Chinese Class. This is a fun interactive for children to learn to write and speak Chinese. Children have 10 words to choose from on the main screen and 10 more can be unlocked via IAP which is locked from kids. Once kids have chosen a word they are shown how to write it step by step. They are then required to trace over the existing lines with a start dot and finish dot. If they dont get it correct or go over they are required to complete it again. They repeat each word 3 times and on the last times the faint lines behind disappear, however the start and finish dots are still visible and children are shown how to complete the word each time before attempting. Once each word is complete the word is interactive allowing children to play with the words. This is also great for visual clues related to the word. The word is also said in chinese and this can be repeated at any time by pressing the word down the bottom. I do love how they have combined single words that kids have learnt to make a new word showing children an all new side of the chinese language. I would like to have seen some more words added in or hope that the developer is going to update with more words at a later date.
