Sports Ministry to compensate Muntari and Gyan for stolen items during World Cup qualifier against Lesotho Sulley Muntari and Asamoah Gyan are set to be compensated by the Sports Ministry after their items were stolen from their hotel rooms while playing against Lesotho in a 2o14 World Cup qualifier last month. The Ghana Sports Newspaper has reported that the two players will be reimbursed for losing valuables in the course of duty. Gyan had his US$ 10,000 stolen and Muntari expensive jewellery was also taken away by the thief at the Maseru Sun Hotel while they were grinding out a 2-0 win last month.
