SportsTalk Debate! * We debated the strength of the SEC this year. I contended the league was underrated as parity reigned throughout college basketball! Well, the only three teams that made the tournament are in the Sweet 16. That debate is now closed! Also had 4-teams in the NIT. * Southern Basketball seems to always get downgraded by the talking heads on TV. How is the ACC and the Big East faring? :) Heck, Belmont beat N.Car. at Carolina this year and have two wins in the NIT to date. EKU played Kansas tail off! There is NOTHING second rate about southern hoop except the talking heads that continue to build up the eastern teams. * My problem is I root with my heart instead of my mine at times. But regardless, I can tell when a team warms-up if they are capable or not! I love the Creighton team this year because Doug McDermott is my favorite player. However, they dont have the athleticism of most Top Clubs. Thats easy to see in this Baylor matchup. But I still love the way they play! * N.Carolina got just what they deserved today! They were lucky to beat Providence! * I had Kentucky beating Wichita St. but hated it as the Shockers were the REAL DEAL, and I dont care what league they played in! They are dang good if they just played a Rec. League Schedule! * Mercy! This is great stuff! LATER! *
