Sportsman 2014 championship...words cant describe the feelings I felt last night. I grew up watching my dad race every weekend and to finish off the championship weekend racing door to door for the win with him is something I will never forget. I have to thank all of our sponsors including: Saskatoon Co-op 92.9 The Bull Ok Tire on 22nd street City glass Al Kraus and Hallmark Realty Sharp Auto Trim Shirley Service Point Optical R and D Racecars And to the divisions main sponsor who has stuck with us for years, Mid-West Combustion. I also have to thank my dad for giving me the opportunity to race and help me become the driver I am today. And to my mom for even allowing this dream to become a reality. As well I have to thank all of the drivers in the sportsman division. They have treated me with more than enough respect and they deserve as much credit as me for making the division the way it is today. Special thanks to Jeremy Brooks and Brendan Deibert for all their hardwork this year and to Connor Shirley, Jarek Rhode, Landon DeGirolamo, Ron McLean and Greg Shirley for helping out whenever they could. I cant forget all the family and friends and fans who came out to support throughout the entire year and especially the last race. It made it so much more special and I would like to thank everyone for their support! We arent done yet though. We have one more race next weekend on the 27th. Winner will take home 5000 dollars. This race will include sportsmans, street stocks, and pro trucks and out of town cars from across western canada and even the states. We are going to give it our all and see what we can do against the best of the best! Make sure to come out to this race, it starts at 2pm!
