Spotlight on: ZACCHEUS JACKSON As a teenager Zaccheus Jackson spent a lotta time hitching around Western Canada, falling in and out of love w/ all kindsa Nouns. He spent the first half of the last decade battling the demons of his addiction, and accredits East Vancouvers Spoken Word scene (and Commercial Drive itself) for giving him something worthwhile to dream about. 5-time member of the Vancouver Poetry Slam team and two-time Individual Champion who for 9 years has been working w/ WordPlay (a Vancouver organization dedicated to putting Spoken Word artists in high school classrooms), Zaccheus has had the opportunity to share his work and words w/ strangers, Friends and students from all over North America.
