Spotty showers are possible across the Twin Tiers tonight as a warm front lifts through the region. Temperatures overnight will remain mild with lows in the mid 50s. Rainfall amounts will only average a few hundreths of an inch. Gusty southerly winds will usher in unseasonably warm conditions on Tuesday with afternoon temperatures into the mid and upper 70s, or about 15 degrees above average. Along with the warm and breezy conditions, we can expected some breaks in the overcast and only a slight chance for a passing shower. Clouds will thicken on Wednesday as a cold front bears down on the region. Temperatures ahead of the front will remain quite warm with highs back into the mid 70s. Our best chance for rain will hold off until the afternoon with thunderstorms and a period of heavier rain possible during the evening as the front moves through. A few showers will linger on Thursday with highs near 70. More seasonable temperatures are likely by the end of the week with highs Friday 60 to 65. A weak system will pass through the region on Saturday with a slight chance for showers, but much of the upcoming weekend looks dry with temperatures cooling into the 50s for highs by Sunday.
