The origin of skill and the destination where it is required are completely different. Rarely both of them are in the same place! 1. You get best south Indian fare in Bangalore and NOT in Udupi! Although the best cooks are from Udupi, you don’t get the quality of the food that you get in Bangalore. 2. Although Bangalore produces and attracts the best talent as far as software engineers are concerned, it is very difficult, if not impossible, to find a good software engineer for a local company and for local projects. Hence, computerization in local companies does not exist, if it does, it is only minuscule. Most, software engineers, if not all, work for US/Europe/Japanese companies! 3. Kerala produces the best nursing care professionals and sends them worldwide, but it is very difficult to find good nursing care professionals within Kerala! 4. Some of the finest carpenters are from Jodhpur/Jaisalmer/Jaipur in Rajasthan, yet they could hardly get jobs in Rajasthan. The carpenters move over to other big cities in search of work and wealth. 5. Most film stars of Bollywood are NOT from Mumbai but from (mostly) Punjab and other states. Your good looks and acting talent are not needed in Punjab but are needed in Mumbai! Material success is in knowing what kind of talent one has AND where the talent is needed!
