Squatting 240lbs for the first time earlier this week. Five reps. Uneven shoulders, back problems, etc kept me restricted from doing a lot of things for a long time. In high school I sometimes had to use crutches, be in a sling or just be horizontal. Ive spent the last few months really focusing on fixing my alignment, tightness, mobility, etc. Two months ago I couldnt even squat the barbell. Put in tons of time working on my lower back, hip flexors, flexibility, etc. One of the best feelings in the world comes right after doing something you were never able to do. This was actually on back day but I decided to do a bunch of squats at the end cause now that I can finally do them...theyre like my favorite thing to do. I plan on improving every single day, getting stronger, getting better, getting more functional and never quitting when Im tired but quitting when Im done.
