Sr. Administrative Secretary - City of Inglewood SALARY: $3,395 – $4,810 per month DUTIES: A SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE SECRETARY, under supervision, provides professional level administrative services and/or support to a Division Manager, Department and/or Division. Provides professional level administrative services and/or support to a Department and/or Division; Creates, monitors, sorts and distributes incoming and outgoing correspondence and mail; receives, screens and routes telephone calls and faxes; provides information to the public, schedules appointments, maintains calendars and organizes and arranges travel arrangements; prepares, obtains and distributes meeting materials; coordinates maintenance and facility requests; organizes and maintains department/division files and records. REQUIREMENTS: Possess an Associate Degree in English, Business/Public Administration or Management AND six (6) years experience performing complex administrative support work OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in written English and be able to type a minimum of 40 net words per minute with less than a 5% error rate. Approved typing certificate must be submitted with your application materials.
