Must have data center experience with Windows/AD/Exchange & Virtualization in a large data center environment. SR. SYSTEMS ENGINEER DESCRIPTION: Will perform a variety of technical tasks for Infrastructure and Operations relating to the Server and Data Center environments. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Support of Microsoft server infrastructure and our Client’s Data Centers. • Support of HP server hardware. • Support of Anti-Virus and Backup/Restore software. • Responsible for the environmental support of the Client’s Data Center. • Utilize and maintain technical runbooks. • Manage and maintain the ServiceNow incident management queues for the Team. • Maintain detailed knowledge of company server and technology standards. • Responsible for metrics (i.e. server availability, backup, anti-virus, server patching). • Maintain SOX controls as assigned. • Participate in 24x7 on call rotation. • Act as infrastructure resource on projects as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: • 5 years of Microsoft Server technical experience – MCSE preferred. • Microsoft Windows 2003/2008 experience (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Clustering, IIS, GPO’s, Windows Scripting, Exchange, and SQL). • Operations management of a Windows server environment – Backup, virus protection, remote office architecture, etc. • Working knowledge of Cisco IP networks. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to produce documentation – Visio, runbooks, RFP’s, Project Plans, Root Cause Analysis, etc. • Experience with HP and/or IBM hardware. • SAN knowledge and experience a plus (NetApp or another major vendor). • BA/BS Degree preferred.
