Sri Rajnath Singh , BJP President and BJP candidate from Lucknow , met bank employees . Two memorandums --one on pending wage revision & pension issue ( Memorandum given by Sri V K Sengar, President, NCBE,U P) and the other on issues of RRB eployees on pension & parity in allowances( Memo was given by Sri BP Singh & Sri B K Verma) were given to Sri Singh. While speaking, Sri A P Singh, ex-State Convener, UFBU and AIBOC briefed Sri Rajnath Singh on the plight of bank employees & retirees. Sri Rajnath Singh promised that if BJP Govt. will come to power, he would lead delegation of bank employees to FM, Finance & Banking Secretaries to get their issues resolved. On the occasion senior retired leaders of banking industry joined BJP. Prominent amongst them are B P Singh (RRB), Karunesh Shukla (BOB),B N Shukla(UBI), S K Ghai ( Canara BK), D P Verma(PNB), R A Sharma(RRB) etc.. Several leaders of retirees federations; retired bank executives also joined BJP in the presence of hundreds of retired employees.
