Srinagar, May 04: (GNS) Two blind kids and a 9-year-old girl were among seven persons injured due to stone-pelting in Srinagar in last few days, police said Sunday. A police spokesman in a statement said that some “miscreants” pelted stones on a police deployment at Nawakadal chowk, Sunday afternoon. “The girl identifies as Tanzeela daughter of Ghulam Jeelani Kosgar resident of Rehbab Sahib area of M.R Gunj hit by a stone on her head,” The spokesman further said that seven persons received severe injuries after being hit by stones hurled by “miscreants” at different places in the valley in previous week.
