St Agnes Hermit George Pentrethic has been asked to take down his temporary house on the island as he hasnt been given planning consent. Shouting to us from inside his cobbled together house, he said Im stuck between a rock and a hard place here When asked to explain, he yelled I am! Literally! The bloody doors jammed again! George went on to explain that his old place Upsidedownyboat was being refitted and refused to move back in until the promised high speed fibre optic broadband cables had been installed. Anyone wishing to rent the boathouse for their Summer hols can pay him in beer and potatoes but none of that posh tripe from them other islands he yelled!
