St. Catherines Monastery in Egypt - Ive had the opportunity to be here when Israel had possession of the Sinai. At that time we were able to overnight and have our meals within the Monastery--not sure this is still possible. Ive got a ton of slides from a couple of trips around the Middle East from 1976 and 1983, including this trip to St. Catherines. These also include Greece, Rome, Syria, Jordan, Egypt and Israel...just havent taken the time to go through them to select a few, scan, and play around with them. One of my projects for the winter.
