St Ives Planning Public meeting last night 24th October - PLEASE READ IF A WEST CORNWALL RESIDENT: - Letter to Andrew George MP: Good morning, Toward the close of last nights public planning meeting at St Ives Guildhall Council Chambers, the question arose, as an aside, several times, of where is the s106 money held by Cornwall County Council that is ring fenced for St ives. I was astounded by this, particularly by St Ives Town councillors stating they had also not been able to track it down. At this juncture of the meeting, time had run out for further questions. It seemed quite obvious to me, that perhaps the following questions should be submitted to the Cornwall County Council under The Freedom Of Information Act by the leader by the St Ives Lib Dems office, and all other interested parties/individuals:- 1 State how much s106 money is currently being held by Cornwall Council Council that has been ring fenced for St Ives. 2 Provide financial year statements 2008 - 2013 of the s106 money being held by Cornwall Council Council that has been ring fenced for St Ives. 3 State which Cornwall County Council Committee or Officer has responsibility for that money and provide contact details for that person or committee.
