St. Johns vs Gonzaga halftime report: At the half, 33-28 Gonzaga. Zags led by 8 points and six rebounds from Domatas Sabonis, who came to play; outhustling St. Johns front court. Zags got a balanced attack, with six points from Karnowski and five from newcomer Silas Melton; four each from Pangos, Bell Jr., and WIltjer. St. Johns is led by 13 points from Rysheed Jordan on 11 shots; Phil Greene IV was active early with seven points in the first eleven minutes (none since). Chris Obekpa has three blocks, three rebounds and two steals. D`Angelo Harrison has five points. Sir`Dominic Pointer and Obekpa both have two fouls. Christian Jones and Myles Stewart have gotten into the game as well. Expect the Zags to make some changes, activate Pangos in the second half; and also expect more play in the post from them. St. Johns needs more from Harrison as well.
