Furthermore, the works of the late Robert Devaux, one of the Founding Fathers of the Trust and its first Director will be on display to the public at the Secretariat this Thursday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Mr. Devaux, who passed away in April, was a historian, avid writer and conservationist who contributed immensely to the conservation of the island’s historic sites and we will pay tribute to this icon on the occasion of our 38th Anniversary. Additionally, a video produced by the Trust with support from Mr. Devaux’s family, particularly his oldest grandchild, Andre Segovia will be aired on Thursday, September 26th on: • DBS TV at 6:50 p.m.; • Choice TV at 7:54 p.m. and • Helen Television System (HTS) at 8:15 p.m. We hope that this video will inspire Saint Lucians to take their role as stewards of their heritage more seriously and also to research and record more of the islands history so that future generations will gain a better understanding of their patrimony.
