Flintshire Formerly the pilgrims hospice and an historic part of the ancient pilgrimage to St Winefrides Well The Sisters who run the Guest House (now known as St Winefride`s House) have taken up residence in the adjoining, also newly remodeled Ave Maria Hall, which is now known as The Bridgettine Convent. The Convent has a fine new chapel which is open daily and is also open to visitors to the Guest House. The Sisters of St. Bridget of Sweden cordially welcome all. The guest house of St. Winefride’s is open all year round. The Brigidine Sisters with their charisma of Ecumenism play a monastic and apostolic prayer life and make their service of hospitality for pilgrims who visit the Shrine of St. Winefride, and those who want to spend a holiday, weekend, study, organize conferences, retreats, etc.. The convent chapel is adjacent to the guest house and is open to all those who want to spend some time in prayer. With an en suite accommodation for 31 visitors, provides Bed and Breakfast accommodation or full Board as required. Mother Aurora and the Sisters, welcome bookings for accommodation. Meals also available by arrangement for non residents. There are single, twin, double, family rooms and are equipped for people with disabilities. The room is equipped with bath or shower, central heating, TV and telephone. Also, there is a lift for people with disabilities, a conference room and a parking lot.
